Quick DVD reviews Rating: 3.5/5 Review: "Alice in Wonderland DVD review" ------------------------------------------------------- When I had watched this in cinema with 3D, I gave it 4 because the 3D is kind of cool and is a plus point for the movie. But when the movie comes out on DVD, the feeling of being blown away is not there maybe because of the 3D effect. Still, it is entertaining for 2D. DVD special features-Rating: 3/5 There are three brief featurettes. One is about on The Mad hatter (6 minutes) on about Johnny and the director/producers discussing his role. Another one is about creating the Wonderland with CGI (6 minutes). The last one is on finding Alice (6 minutes) on about the actress and director talking about how Alice should be played in the movie. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rating: 3.8/5 Review: "Clash of the Titans DVD review" ------------------------------------------------------------ This is a movie where the 3D does not
Rating: 4/5 Review: "Step Up 3D movie review" ---------------------------------------------------------------- Step Up 3D's story isn't amazing but its dance moves and cool 3D contribute to the rating of 4. It've been a long time since I have watched a 3D movie; last watched 3D movie was How to train a dragon in March. There have been other 3D movies like recent The Last Airbender but the reviews for the 3D are horrible and convinced me not to watch it in 3D. The critics approve of this 3D. And yes, it is good as what they say. With quotes like "...the 3D is the best since Avatar", you can never go wrong with this. With limbs swinging towards you, the 3D is awesome. It is so much better than Clash of the Titans 3D which barely shows you the dept of the 3D. Cool 3D aside, the story isn't anything new. The dance moves are cool and sleek that makes you wonder whether they really did them without any wires work. Some of the songs are good and the rest al
Quick DVD reviews Rating: 3.4/5 Review: "The Uninvited DVD review" ----------------------------------------------------------- This is a remake of the korean horror movie, A Tale of two sisters which I have not watched. But this 1 hour 27 minutes movie move around briskly so I did not feel bored. Yes, there is drama and the intensity between the two sisters. Yes, it is also Cliche' in some ways. As usual, there are some twists here and there but I fell for the final twist in the ending. I did not expect it. DVD special features-3/5 There is one featurette (19 minutes) which basically covers the filming and the scripting of the movie. The director shares some interesting tidbits about the movie. The producers talk about changing the story. The actors/actresses talk about the experiences in the filming. Slightly interesting featurette. There are deleted scenes (4 minutes) which are worthless but worth a watch for one time. They are just the things happening offscreen. The d
