Rating: 3.5/5 Review: "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance movie review" Ghost Rider is back in a second outing. The movie is one of the most bizarre superhero movies. The movie is filled with weird humour, shaky camera shots and fast editing. And Ghost Rider is more like a monster in this. I should have known what to expect from a movie that is directed by the guys behind Gamer and the Crank movies. The story: It is a fairly simple chase movie where a group of bad guys are chasing after a mother and a son. Johnny Blaze known as Ghost Rider is asked to help them. Pure simple. Of course, the truth of why they are being chased will be reveal in the middle of the movie. One thing that this is better than the first one is of course the action. The action makes the movie worthy to be in the action genre. Unfortunately, camera shots marred the action scenes and they become like a lost-found footage movie. The crazy weird humour ranges from slightly funny to embarrassing. Acting wise i
Rating: 4/5 Review: "Underworld Awakening 3D movie review" This is the first movie I watched in cinema and it is not a bad movie to start the year. Underworld Awakening is the first 3D movie in the franchise and I am glad to have watched it in cinema. The movie is shot using 3D camera; it is not the lazy post-converted 3D movie. With its short runtime of 88 minutes, the pace moves briskly and it becomes an enjoyable action flick. And not only that, it could be the best in the franchise. The story: If a story has to be explained, it goes with Selene trying to find Michael. But no luck and she wakes up about 13 years later where she finds out she has a daughter and yeah, she is still trying to find Michael. Basically, the story serves to string up the different and various action scenes together. The action scenes range from fight scenes to a car chase. It has probably the best action in the franchise. With the added dimension of 3D, the action turns out better. Acting is fine
