Quick DVD reviews Rating: 3.5/5 Review: "House of Wax 2005 DVD review" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The remake is an okay slasher movie, actually, it is suspenseful of times but I feel that the story took a bit of time to get into the main point. I guess almost horror movies do that, spending at least half and hour with the young and sexy characters doing stuffs before going to the main point/story. House of Wax is not too bad, the pace is decent and bearable. The Singapore edition is somehow edited; the Paris Hilton's death appears to be cut for a NC-16 rating. I think some other things are cut too. DVD special features-3.5/5 There is a long bloopers with cast commentary (27 minutes) which is pretty interesting to watch. The cast comment and laugh on the funny things they did while filming. Some stuff are amusing. You get a gag reel (4 minutes) which is almost like a summary version of the bloopers.
