Rating: 3.8/5 Review: "Scream the TV series season 1 review" After four films, MTV felt it wanted to bring the younger generation a updated version of Scream. The TV series clearly fits the demographic with its young attractive cast, technology and updated film references. Is it as good as the film franchise? I would say close, for the younger audience. It retains some of the things the franchise is famous for. The update of the Ghostface's mask somehow works in the series. Episode 1-10: The first episode starts like all the other films: a kill. Bella Thorne, looking as attractive as she can in a bikini, is the first kill and it is no spoiler. After the first episode, I began to wonder if it would adopt to some of the whodunit TV series where a character is killed in every episode (Harper's Island for an instance).
