Rating: 3.5/5 Review: "Quick DVD review" This is a rare korean action blockbuster. It has everything that an action movie must have. Noticeably, korean action movies seldom have loud explosions, brisk pace and lots of action. But this sets the bar of action high in korean movies. Although, it seems like Quick steals stunts, car crashes from superior Hollywood action movies, it is still a fast entertaining action romp. The pace is like the title of the movie: Quick. There are non-stop action chase scenes filled with crashes and explosions. The story is easy enough to understand. This is what a korean action blockbuster should be like. Once in a while, movies like this happens. This year, it seems that Soar into the Sun starring Rain will take Quick's role of a blockbuster. Rating: 3.4/5 Review: "Taken 2 movie review" After watching the first one, I had no idea how the sequel would continue where it last stops. The first one is already considered as a complete movie. It ends with a happy ending. It has to be the massive box office earning that the producers want to continue it as a franchise. It is not necessary a bad thing if the sequel has some fresh ideas. Unfortunately, Taken 2 features none. At best, it is an enjoyable action thriller and nothing more. The story: Liam Neeson is back kicking more asses. This time, it is him and his ex-wife being taken. Kim (Maggie Grace) plays a more serious role in this, saving her father. The movie moves briskly although the first 20 minutes show the relationship between the family becoming better. Once the action starts, it becomes more entertaining and thrilling.
