Review: "Whiteout Blu-ray review"
I have upgraded it from DVD. Well, the Blu-ray is obviously more sharper and crisper than the normal DVD version. The colors are more brighter. The faces appearances are more sharper and you can see wrinkles or whatever. The downside of the disc is that it doesn't actually have a menu. It only has a special features menu where you can play the movie from there.
Blu-ray special features-3/5
There are two featurettes; one for the making of the movie (11 minutes) and another for the discussion of bringing the comic to life(10 minutes). Both are passable for special features stuff. There are also deleted scenes (4 minutes) which is also included on DVD. There are previews before the movie. Overall: If you are a rare fan of the movie, it's worth the upgrade.

Review: "Red Riding Hood Blu-ray review"
It is a passable mystery thriller. More fairy tales are being adapted into big screen. The recent movie is Snow White and the huntsman. Next year, we will get more such as Jack the giant killer. Anyway, Red Riding Hood is tense at moments. There are some parts that drag the movie. The most disappointing thing is the short and few appearances of The wolf. The picture quality seems like in a dreamy state but it is decent and sharp.
Blu-ray special features-3/5
There is nothing much if you don't watch the maximum mode (the annoying trend from Warner Bros. Blu-rays). There are some short featurettes like making of the movie (5 minutes), talking about the two 'hot' guy in the movie (3 minutes), an interesting making of the score (10 minutes) and an insanely short making of the wolf which lasts less than a minute. You can watch audition tapes by the actors (7 minutes) and rehearsal (5 minutes). There is a gag reel (2 minutes) which is somehow funny. There are two music video (5 minutes) which are kind of nice. Pointless additional scenes (4 minutes) round up the features.
