Review: "Sherlock Holmes: A game of shadows Blu-ray review"
This sequel to the first movie has a long title; of course not as long as some. But I believe the title is important to the movie. This is more action-packed than the first so fans of the first movie should be pleased with it. I believe some fans of Sherlock Holmes will not like the direction Guy Ritchie is going. At times, the movie felt like it is more of an action movie rather than a mystery-deduction movie. All is fine for me as this has a good mix of great action with a thrilling plot and music composed by Han Zimmers. Heck, this even has one of the best action scenes I have ever seen before; escape into the woods. Picture quality though dark and dull is sharp and clear
Blu-ray special features-3/5
There is only one special feature which is the maximum mode. I didn't bother to watch it but when I tested it, the disc hung and the player was switched off. Maximum mode is useless to me. Those who do not watch maximum mode will not miss out much as there are the focus points (34 minutes) to be viewed separately. Kind of disappointing for a big-budget movie Blu-ray disc.
